ABSTRACT
In this study an attempt has been made to define the concept of cultural displacement, as a major notion that will help understand the experience of migration for writers from the English-speaking Caribbean, such as Trinidarian Elizabeth Nunez, her living separated, distanced from her motherland, and how this manifests into her literary works. Several concepts are examined, and a reference to each of her seven novels is included to end this article.
