Resumen
En este artículo se analiza la relación de la sublevación popular del Madrid de 1766 con la Raquel de Vicente García de la Huerta. Incluye algunas de las teorías que defienden que el verdadero sentido de la tragedia de Huerta queda puesto en evidencia si se la reinserta en las circunstancias que rodearon su nacimiento: los primeros años del reinado de Carlos III.
